Hello!
I’m Amanda Muckalt. Through my business, Love Change, I help leaders navigate change without losing sight of themselves, or what they’re trying to create.
My work brings together the human experience of change with strategy and commercial reality.
I believe growth doesn’t have to be grim. Resolve and persistence can coexist with curiosity, experimentation, humour and enjoyment.
That same spirit shapes how I work:
“Amanda’s ability to read people is one of her key strengths. She combines being a thoroughly nice person with a ‘steeliness’ and determination. She is dynamic but with a measured style.”
Rachel Campbell, Global Head of People, Performance and Culture, KPMG
My mission is simple: to help people and businesses become better at navigating change so they can move beyond coping and into a wholehearted participation that creates better futures.
My route here hasn’t been linear
I’m a First-Class Mathematics graduate and Chartered Accountant.
I spent 12 years at KPMG, working across audit, M&A and global sales, before moving into leadership development, coaching and organisational change.
That mix of worlds shapes how I work. I’m as interested in strategy, performance and commercial results as I am in people, relationships and what makes real change possible. For me, the commercial and the human belong together.
I work with senior leaders, leadership teams and client-facing professionals navigating growth, change and new strategic direction.
My corporate work has spanned professional services, financial services, technology and telecommunications, from large international organisations to entrepreneurial businesses.
I also work privately with senior leaders when the change is more personal: a new chapter in life, leadership or business.
Looking back, change is the thread running through all of it – my work and my own life.
Change and me: it’s complicated
I’ve always been willing to change things.
I’ve changed careers, built businesses, moved home more times than is entirely sensible and made choices that haven’t followed the obvious path. I genuinely like possibility. I’m curious about what could be next.
But being comfortable making change isn’t the same as knowing how to be with change.
For much of my earlier life, I was a fast-paced, make-it-happen overachiever.
I was very good at effort, action and finding the answer.
My own growth has been learning when not to push harder: to create space, listen more deeply, trust myself, tolerate not knowing and choose from what matters rather than what feels most urgent.
That tension between movement and stillness, ambition and discernment, creating change and allowing life to speak back sits underneath much of my work.

The Stability Effect
Book
I wrote The Stability Effect for overstretched leaders navigating ever-changing territory.
It was an Amazon #1 Bestseller on launch and a Business Book Awards 2025 Leadership Finalist.
It explores how we can become more centered, discerning and empowered through change, moving towards what matters with greater clarity and courage without becoming exhausted or unanchored along the way.
